1. Seller’s identity and scope
The PICKLES webshop is operated by Traiteur du Parc SRL, hereinafter referred to as “PICKLES”.
- Registered office: Boulevard Général Wahis 16A – 1030 Brussels

These terms and conditions govern orders for food products, drinks and associated items placed through the webshop by business customers or private individuals.
A consumer is a natural person placing an order for purposes outside their professional activity. Provisions expressly reserved for consumers do not apply to business purchases.
The webshop is dedicated to delivery. Events involving installation, equipment, serving staff or bespoke services are organised separately with the sales team, on the basis of a quotation and subject to the terms communicated before acceptance.
2. Products, quantities and assortments
The characteristics, packaging, quantities and applicable minimums are set out on the product pages and in the order summary.
Quantities are selected according to the number of people or the stated unit of sale. Certain packaging formats require orders in fixed increments. The sandwiches concerned are notably packed in boxes of 20 pieces. Any adjustment to match the available packaging must be presented to the customer, together with the corresponding quantity and price, before confirmation. The number of people entered does not replace the quantities shown in the final summary.
Photographs illustrate the products. Minor differences in presentation may occur without changing the essential characteristics or the agreed quantities.
Certain assortments, including savoury servings in glasses, side salads, Inspiration buffets and fruit baskets, vary according to the season and market availability. This is indicated on the relevant product page. Mandatory food information, including allergen information, is available before purchase. The final composition is confirmed before delivery, in accordance with the accepted characteristics.
3. Orders and confirmation
The customer selects the products and quantities, an available delivery date and time slot, and then enters their delivery, contact and billing details. They may check and correct these details before confirmation.
These terms and conditions are accessible before the order is placed and are submitted for the customer’s acceptance. The confirmation button clearly indicates that placing the order entails an obligation to pay.
The contract is concluded when PICKLES sends its confirmation of acceptance by email. A message expressly described as a mere acknowledgement of receipt does not constitute acceptance. The confirmation sets out the products, quantities, delivery arrangements, prices and applicable terms in a form that can be retained.
If PICKLES is unable to accept the order, it promptly informs the customer and refunds any amounts already received in full.
4. Order lead time and minimums
Orders must be placed at least 48 working hours before the start of the selected delivery time slot. Saturdays and Sundays are not counted towards this period.
Where no public holiday intervenes, an order placed on Monday at 10:00 may be delivered no earlier than Wednesday at 10:00; an order placed on Friday at 10:00 may be delivered no earlier than Tuesday at 10:00. The calendar offers time slots that comply with the applicable rules and available capacity.
The minimum order amount is €150, across all products combined.
The product pages identify the category, minimum and packaging applicable to each product; these are shown in the basket before confirmation. Packaging increments may require a quantity greater than the stated minimum to be selected.
Orders that do not meet the lead times or minimums cannot be confirmed directly through the webshop.
An exceptional request may be sent to hello@pickles.brussels. Acceptance depends on PICKLES’ capacity and may result in a surcharge of at least 15%.

6. Prices, payment and invoicing
Prices are expressed in euros. Prices intended for consumers are displayed excluding VAT.
VAT is applied at the statutory rate applicable to each product or service. The summary sets out any additional charges and the total amount payable before confirmation. Prices for confirmed orders cannot be changed unilaterally.
Online payment is made when the order is placed. The advertised payment methods are Bancontact, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal; the methods actually available are indicated at the beginning of the ordering process.
A business account, activated following approval by PICKLES, allows payment by invoice. Invoices are payable within 15 calendar days of their issue date, unless another due date has been expressly agreed. The customer provides accurate billing details, including their business name and VAT number, where applicable.
If deferred payment is exceptionally granted to a consumer, any late payment is subject to an initial free reminder and compliance with the statutory period of at least fourteen calendar days. These terms and conditions do not provide for a flat-rate debt recovery charge payable by the consumer.
7. Changes, quantity reductions and cancellation
All requests must be sent as soon as possible to hello@pickles.brussels, quoting the order number. Requests made by telephone are confirmed in writing so that a record can be retained.
Changes depend on preparation and delivery possibilities. PICKLES submits any resulting price adjustment for the customer’s approval before implementing the changes.
If the number of guests decreases by more than 10%, PICKLES may propose revised pricing, taking into account the applicable quantities, packaging and minimums. This proposal must be explained and accepted; it does not allow the price of the original order to be changed unilaterally. If no agreement is reached, the customer may retain the original order or request its cancellation under the rules below.
For products and services for which there is no statutory right of withdrawal, a cancellation notified at least 36 calendar hours before the start of the delivery time slot is accepted free of charge. The date and time at which the written notification is sent serve as evidence, provided the address has been entered correctly.
After this deadline, only perishable foodstuffs actually committed to the order and which can no longer be used for other orders may be charged. The amount corresponds to PICKLES’ actual and substantiated loss, after deducting expenses avoided and amounts recovered. It is capped at 100% of the price of the foodstuffs concerned; this cap does not mean that the entire order is automatically charged. A partial reduction follows the same rule for the cancelled portion.
Any amounts paid in excess of the amount due are refunded within fourteen days of cancellation.
If PICKLES cancels for a reason attributable to it, the amounts corresponding to the cancelled portion are refunded within the same period.
8. Receipt and delivery delays
Someone must be available to receive the order at the confirmed address and during the confirmed time slot. The customer provides a telephone number on which they can be reached and the necessary information: floor, name at reception and access restrictions.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, PICKLES informs the customer as soon as possible. When arranging receipt of the order, customers are advised to allow a thirty-minute margin for traffic disruption. This recommendation does not automatically postpone the agreed time slot or remove the customer’s rights in the event of a delay.
If an incorrect address or the recipient’s absence prevents handover, PICKLES attempts to contact the customer. A further delivery depends on availability and the continued assurance of food safety. Any associated charge is communicated and accepted in advance. The treatment of foodstuffs that can no longer be used is assessed according to the circumstances and responsibilities; no general penalty is applied automatically.
The risk of loss or damage passes upon physical handover to the customer or their designated recipient. PICKLES remains liable for any defect that existed before handover.
9. Allergens, dietary requirements and storage
The customer is invited to disclose any allergy or intolerance in the designated field when ordering. For a severe allergy or a special request, they must also contact PICKLES before confirming the order. This does not release PICKLES from its food information and food safety obligations. Any special adaptation must be expressly accepted.
The preparation facilities are not exclusively dedicated to gluten-free preparations; cross-contamination is possible. A recipe without gluten-containing ingredients does not, on its own, guarantee the gluten content of the finished product. The term “gluten-free” is used only for products whose compliance with legal requirements has been established.
Vegetarian, vegan and other dietary descriptions refer to the verified characteristics of the product.
After receipt, the customer must comply with the temperatures, storage periods and reheating or consumption instructions communicated by PICKLES or stated on the packaging. PICKLES is not liable for deterioration caused by failure to follow these instructions after handover, without prejudice to its liability for an original defect.
10. Consumers’ right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to catering services scheduled for a specific date or period. The relevant exception is brought to the consumer’s attention before the order is placed.
11. Complaints and warranty
For a missing or damaged product, customers are advised to contact PICKLES on the day of delivery at hello@pickles.brussels or on +32 2 538 66 99, quoting the order number. A photograph may facilitate the handling of damage; it is not the sole condition for a complaint to be admissible.
Prompt reporting is intended to enable an effective response, given the nature of the products. It does not shorten statutory time limits or restrict legal remedies, and the absence of any reservation at handover does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
12. Equipment and deposits, where applicable
Where an item associated with an order includes equipment that is lent, hired or supplied against a deposit, the arrangements for its provision, return, collection and refund of the deposit are communicated before acceptance.
The equipment remains the property of its owner. The customer must comply with the instructions for use and the agreed return date. Any loss or damage attributable to the customer may result in a substantiated charge, taking into account the equipment’s condition, age and value. Normal wear and tear is not charged.
Event services involving installation and service remain subject to the separate quotation referred to in Article 1.
13. Liability and force majeure
Each party is liable for breaches attributable to it in accordance with applicable law. No provision limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
A party prevented from performing its obligations by an event of force majeure informs the other party as soon as possible. An adjustment may be agreed. If performance becomes permanently impossible or ceases to serve its purpose because of the scheduled date, the unperformed services are refunded. Ordinary traffic disruption does not automatically constitute an event of force majeure.
14. Personal data
The data required for ordering, payment, delivery and invoicing are processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the website.
Acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications.
15. Applicable law and disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law, without depriving consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions where those provisions apply. The customer may submit a complaint to hello@pickles.brussels. Following an unsuccessful written attempt to reach an amicable resolution, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Mediation Service: https://mediationconsommateur.be — contact@mediationconsommateur.be — Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, box 1, 1000 Brussels. The competent courts are those designated by the applicable legal rules within the territory of Brussels-Capital, French-speaking court. The version of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale accepted when the order was placed remains applicable to that order.
